Stuart Hughes, known for crafting luxury Apple devices covered in precious metals and encrusted with rare stones, has created the most expensive iPhone 5 – embedded with a rare black diamond. News has it that a Chinese businessman, the owner of the black diamond, contacted Stuart Hughes about his gold iPhones, and commissioned the handset. The Black Diamond iPhone 5 is priced at a whopping $15 million.

The idea that smartwatches are just overgrown calculator watches for early-adopting geeks, rather than true timepieces ready to rival elegant luxury wristwatches, shattered into 10,000 pieces the moment a gilded Apple Watch became a reality. Now the rest of the industry is following suit.

Sometime this year Apple is believed to release the new iPhone that is thought will bring a redesigned form factor to the platform, and today we have some beautiful renderings of the new iPhone courtesy of the guys over at the ADR Studio. As you can see in the images on this page and the others via the link the handset looks gorgeous and boasts a lovely 4.3-inch Retina Display that sits edge to edge across the device. The screen on the next iPhone has been debated about a lot recently with many iPhone fans wanting a larger unit, and if something like this was to emerge they would surely be happy.

While the Watch was the highlight of today’s Apple presser, the new MacBook should not be overlooked. Apple’s new notebook is thinner (just 13.1 mm at its thickest point), lighter (just 2 lbs), and packed with more battery power (35% more battery life) than previous models.

Apple has a new thinnest computer in town. And, no, it’s not a MacBook Air. Dubbed simply as MacBook (no more qualifiers), Cupertino’s newest laptop comes in at just 13.1 mm of thickness, making it a remarkable 24 percent thinner than the 11-inch MacBook Air.
