Berlin, Germany

Berlin is a city with a long history. Surprisingly, it was founded by Slavic tribes, and only  later it was conquered by the Germans. It is noteworthy that in Berlin completely lacks the inherent conservatism of the Germans. You can get dressed as a clown, go out in the most ridiculous outfit, and it will be perceived quite naturally: there will be no discussions behind your back, nor any skew opinions. The city of wonder is amazing in terms of attractions like Museum Island.

Amsterdam

Amsterdam is the biggest city of the Netherlands. It is found near the river called Amstel, from which originates the the term naming the city — „Dam on the Amstel’’. The Constitution defines Amsterdam as the capital of the Netherlands, but the Government is located in The Hague.

The first written mention of the fisherman’s village of Dam-Amstel refers to the year 1204, and Amsterdam is established in the year 1275, when count Floris V granted fishermen bridge exemption fees, i.e. fees for moving bridges. The status of the city of Amsterdam was received in the year 1300.
